A Place I Know

A Place I Know

Off in a quiet place I know

sits a rocking chair where little girls go

to feel two arms so safe and snug

wrap around them gently in a loving hug.

And when they need some tender care

they come and snuggle in this special chair

and feel a heartbeat steady and slow

as a soft voice says, "I love you so."

With a soft Fuzzy Bear for them to hold

and words for which they're never too old

any time, day or night, any need or care,

they know that love is always there.

For as long as the shine comes from the sun

and the night stars twinkle, every precious one,

they can come to this place where a promise is gold:

"I love you forever," they will always be told.
