The Expendables

OMG...This is the best action film with the biggest super star cast that I have ever seen. The story line was fabulous, lots of eye candy. This is a must have movie for my collection. Hopefully it is on DVD for Christmas...LOL...That is probably wishful thinking on my part. The movie just came out!!! It's already in my Netflix queue.

Expendable – Capable of being sacrificed in order to accomplish a military objective.  The Expendables is a hard-hitting action/thriller about a group of mercenaries hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator. Once the mission begins, the men realize things aren’t quite as they appear, finding themselves caught in a dangerous web of deceit and betrayal.  With their mission thwarted and an innocent life in danger, the men struggle with an even tougher challenge - one that threatens to destroy this band of brothers.

Barney Ross leads the "Expendables", a band of highly skilled mercenaries including knife enthusiast Lee Christmas, martial arts expert Yin Yang, heavy weapons specialist Hale Caesar, demolitionist Toll Road and loose-cannon sniper Gunner Jensen. When the group is commissioned by the mysterious Mr. Church to assassinate the merciless dictator of a small South American island, Barney and Lee head to the remote locale to scout out their opposition. Once there, they meet with local rebel Sandra and discover the true nature of the conflict engulfing the city. When they escape the island and Sandra stays behind, Ross must choose to either walk away and save his own life - or attempt a suicidal rescue mission that might just save his soul.

  I forgot to mention all of the weapons that were involved in the movie.

Happy Anniversary, Shawn!

Today is our 2nd Anniversary, I wanted to write something for Shawn to celebrate this occasion. We had this song playing during our ceremony while we were lighting the unity candle.  I love this song because he embodies this song for me. He means the world to me. I don't think he realizes that he is my rock, my shelter, my friend and my love. I Love You, Shawn!
